I've arrived at my next destination. Traffic was brutal once I entered the city, but now that I've found a parking spot I am happy to be in San Francisco.
My friend Michelle, another Maui connection, invited me to stay at her S.F. apartment for a few days.
Michelle worked with brother Brad at Gerard's restaurant. She made her generous offer upon receiving my blog announcement. Once again the generosity of friends and the aloha spirit of Maui continues to play a prominent role in this journey.
Michelle's place is in the North Beach neighborhood and it offers some dramatic views of the city. I'll be taking plenty of pictures over the next couple of days.
